Electrical & Electronics

Introduction:

BE Electrical and Electronics is a 4 year (8 semesters) undergraduate program offered since 2009, affiliated to Pokhara University. This is a new discipline, formed by blending of electrical and electronics disciplines. The main aim of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program is to develop enterprising professionals who have an innovative disposition, the confidence and abilities to assume leadership roles in technology, industry and the community. The program is designed to give the skills essential for graduate engineers to become immediately employable in the global competitive environment. We believe concept, capabilities and confidence are major components for quality engineering education and we are focusing with new spirit. We hope cooperation and support from all the stakeholders would make OCEM one of the leading colleges in the nation to cater quality engineering education.

Objective:

On successful completion, our graduates should have a comprehensive knowledge and a sound understanding of Electrical and Electronics Engineering together with the practical, analytical and mathematical skills of an engineer. They should have acquired a range of general skills, including the ability to evaluate information, to identify key issues, to solve problems, to complete a task by a deadline, to use computers with confidence, to work productively with other people, to communicate effectively and to learn independently.
